The Role Responsibilities Strategy Perform relevant management functions i.e. execute, monitor, control and close on all supports relating to CDD Operations. Be the liaison point of CDD Operations between Project partners and internal teams and ensure the deliverables are meeting the agreed timeline and vet through deliverables to ensure that projects are executed to the intention of both parties. Provide regular status reports on projects and escalate and solve issues that arise, working together with internal teams to take corrective action as needed. Perform comprehensive review and gap assessment on impacted Bank Policies and Standards and diligently ensure all possible risks are governed well. Business Work with Group, Regional and Country Heads of Business and Partnerships, and relevant Functional Heads to drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of Partnership process through Partnership Governance Framework. Drive business AML Risk governance by working with Business Heads and Risk Owners to identify and resolve existing AML risks and horizon risks that is unique to partnership. Collaborate with Business Head in identifying and driving initiatives designed to increase business operating efficiency and strengthen first line AML risk management in the Partnership process. Support transformational change initiatives to enable business to grow / scale. Processes Work with CPBB business members to deliver and maintain optimal global design standards for Partnership Process that are fit for business purpose and growth that includes Work closely with the Project team to ensure relevant UAT / UVT is performed, and outcome is reviewed in accordance to the agreed process flow. All the defects found during UAT / UVT to be monitored for fixes before going live. Review and work closely on relevant documents for e.g. papers for approval for Country, Board, and the required ORA. Review extensively on relevant documents for obtaining the approvals from Regulators along with the Dispensations. Coordinate and prepare the relevant Process and DOI impacting CDD Operations. Be the liaison personnel in participating the relevant Governance Forum, and co-ordinate the required Service Meeting as per the Terms of Reference. Plays the role of SME in all CDD related area of the project e.g. Onboarding, RFI and the Offboarding and ensure the necessary DOI is readily available prior launch of project and the monitor to ensure deliverables are working as expected. Be a single point of contact and provide overall governance support relating to CDD of the project pre and post launch. Performs the required checks and controls as stipulated in approved ID & V documents e.g. monthly onboarding checks, pilot phase validations, etc. Executes monthly review and exit relationships processes as per the agreed and approved DOI. People and Talent Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners. Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks. Risk Management Supports the country business to execute responsibilities as outlined in the Group AML / CDD: Maintaining a strong and appropriate control environment covering CPBB businesses Restricting business if existing infrastructure and processes, capacity or capability are not fit to execute business within AML risk tolerance, regulatory standards or growth aspirations. Reinforce an effective and exemplary risk and control culture and further strengthen the control environment. Act to minimize operational loss and audit failures and take proactive measures to respond to matters arising and identify and manage forward looking risks. Identify and report all exceptions on non-compliance and weakness inherent in the standard controls via regularly assess existing business key controls to ensure the level of controls remains cost effective, efficient, and relevant. Processes are optimised and assist in right-shoring as aligned to Group cost strategy by establishing centre of excellence. Support the initiatives to simplify processes and controls. Governance Enhance an integrated governance structure for the robust and efficient governance processes in the business. Reinforce an effective and exemplary risk and control culture and further strengthen the control environment. Support Process Owners and Business Heads on issues and risk resolutions arising from BAU activities, audits, risk reviews etc within the processes. Responsible to ensure that key stakeholders and governance forums are kept up to date on key issues and resolution plans and overall progress on initiatives. Prior hands-on experience in CDD operations, AML / CDD Governance. 10 experience in banking with prior hands-on digital partnership experience (internal SCB partnership experience preferred / external also welcome). The sound judgement and courage necessary to perform a risk and control role and maintain effective working relationships. Good knowledge of specific area of business / product with a broad understanding of banking business. Proven interpersonal skills in managing senior management team. Strategic mindset and with a macro dimension of business. Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions. Good business judgment and strong in AML risk management.
