Sales Merchandiser/ Merchandiser

• Possess a minimum of Secondary/SPM/'O' Level certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales merchandising or a related field is required.
• Proven ability to drive sales through effective merchandising techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle customer inquiries effectively.
• Strong communication skills in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Familiarity with merchandising principles, planograms, and visual display techniques.
• Ability to analyze sales data and make recommendations for improving product placement and promotions.

• Execute merchandising plans and strategies to optimize product placement and presentation in retail stores within the assigned territory.
• Visit retail locations regularly to ensure products are displayed according to company standards, planograms, and promotional guidelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff to secure optimal shelf space, display locations, and promotional opportunities.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with store personnel to ensure adequate stock levels, minimize out-of-stocks, and manage product rotation to reduce spoilage or obsolescence.
• Implement and maintain point-of-sale (POS) materials, displays, and promotional signage to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
• Gather and report on market intelligence, including competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer feedback, to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Provide exceptional customer service to retail partners by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product knowledge and training to store staff.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, market share, and display compliance to measure the effectiveness of merchandising efforts and identify areas for optimization.
• Negotiate with store managers to secure prime display locations and implement promotional programs that align with company objectives and maximize sales potential.
