About the Role The incumbent would be part of a team of Investment Asset Infrastructure - Support professionals as part of a Centre of Excellence that is responsible for implementation of an effective portfolio monitoring within for Investments units across the Group. 1) Assist the Manager in terms of analytics of pre-trade controls for feed-back loops and reporting to Group Management. 2) Support the Investment Asset Infrastructure Centre of Excellence by focusing on implementation and providing solutions of current governance architecture. 3) Contribute to ongoing enhancements regarding governance, risk and compliance as contemplated within AIA Investment Operating Model. 4) Making a notable contribution to the Derivatives Centre of Excellence (COE) in respect of pre-trade controls setup. 5) Perform on-going pre-trade controls support (eg: Bloomberg AIMS & CMGR) on the following: . Review, follow-up and uplifting of the pre-trade alerts from AIA business units. . Assist AIA business units to review/ amend the existing pre-trade control rule which may due to the changing or new regulatory, mandate and internal requirements. 6) Assist with the set-up of new pre-trade rules in accordance to Business Units' and Asset Management Companys' (AMCs) Governing Documents. 7) Engage with stakeholders within various local Business Units, AMCs, Group Investment, Group Risk and Group Investment Compliance in discharging the above roles. 8) Other ad hoc activities as delegated by the Manager, Investment Asset Infrastructure - Support from time to time. Job Requirements : University Degree in any of the following fields i.e. Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics. Finance or IT related professional certifications, or progress towards completion, would be viewed favorably. 2+ years of compliance/ risk/ audit/ controls experience in insurance, asset management/unit trust company would be ideal. Knowledge and/ or experience of Aladdin Compliance Dashboard or Bloomberg AIM Compliance Module or a similar portfolio monitoring system would be beneficial is mandatory. Experience in dealing with various stakeholders, e.g. regulator, legal, investment, finance, operations & auditors Experience managing teams and mentoring juniors. Familiarity with one or more of the following Data and Automation tools (i.e. PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, Sharepoint) Familiarity with one or more of the following programming languages (i.e. SQL, Python, VBA) Analytically minded with an aptitude towards numbers, precision and detail Good command of written and spoken English Good communication and interpersonal skills Independent and exercise strong self-initiative
