Who are we looking for Due to our continued growth, Subsea7 have exciting permanent staff opportunities for Project Engineer Level I/IIPipeline Installation Analysis to join our Pipeline Group (PG) team responsible for delivering fit for purpose rigid pipelineinstallation analysis to projects and/or tenders supported by the PG with specific focus on safe and cost-effective installationoperations. These roles will be based in our Kuala Lumpur office and due to restrictions, the preference would be for those who are eitherMalaysian nationals or those who have a current right to work in the country, but we can consider those who do not hold thisdepending on their level of experience. Our Pipeline Installation Analysis Engineers are recognized for their expertise and those in the higher levels positions also fortheir management skills and can oversee specific critical subjects either on business improvement, or projects. You willeither be a part of, or depending on experience be in charge, a team of installation analysis project engineers, dealing withrigid pipeline installation analysis in project, FEED or tender. What does the role involve Duties of the Project Engineer Pipeline Installation Analysis Engineers can involve but are not limited to: Perform in autonomy installation analysis of rigid pipeline in S-lay, J-lay and/or Reel-lay Accountable for planning of your analysis scope Responsible for ensuring that standard of engineering services provided complies with relevant company engineeringstandards with a clear focus on commerciality of engineering solutions Ensure installation analysis solution is fit for purpose while meeting client specifications Provides engineering support during operations with occasional periods offshore or on yard Promote safety culture and initiatives to the installation engineering team throughout the onshore and offshoredelivery phases Participates actively to the Pipeline Group department know-how consolidation Proposes innovative solutions allowing cost & risks reduction What do you need to have We have positions open at all levels of experience, but you will have at least 2 years' experience working within offshore pipelaying in a similar role, equivalent experience in similar projects may be considered (e.g., naval architecture, pipeline in-place design, etc.).
