If you are looking to excel and make a difference, take a closer look at us…The role plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge Wealth Management training programs for RWM and HLB branches. Responsible for identifying skill gaps, this role collaborates with department heads to conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) for RWM. The incumbent ensures a seamless onboarding learning journey for all RWM Sales Front liners, fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team. Additionally, the role oversees the RWM Graduate Trainee Program, working closely with HR/L&D to implement effective training programs for entry-level sales talent.Job Responsibilities:Develop and oversee initiatives to train and retrain RWM and PFS employees in Wealth Management related knowledge and skillsCollaborate with RWM department heads to identify skill requirements and work with HR L&D on the TNA (Training Need Analysis) for RWM.Ensure a smooth onboarding learning journey for RWM Sales Front liners and foster a culture of ongoing learning and development within RWM.Develop and implement specialized training modules tailored for Private Bankers, focusing on advanced Wealth Management strategies, wealth preservation, sophisticated financial planning and client relationship management.Oversee the development and performance management of RWM Graduate Trainees.Implement an effective training program in collaboration with HR/L&D to nurture entry-level sales talent.Conduct review of Wealth Learning programs to ensure relevance and effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in Wealth Management to continuously enhance training programs.Facilitate ongoing professional certifications and memberships for the team.Support RWM business by building the team of competent Graduate Trainees ready for deployment.Manage and coach the team of Graduate Trainees to ensure competency and independence.Establish performance metrics for the Graduate Trainee Program and regularly assess its effectiveness.Build a team of wealth trainers/coaches to provide regular refresher or retooling training to Wealth Front liners.Cultivate a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaborationCollaborate with Specialist teams (Investment, Bancassurance & SMF) to review and enhance wealth competencies of to the RWM front-liners.Work with HR to explore opportunities for strategic partnerships with educational institutions to enhance recruitment pipelines for the Graduate Trainee Program.Lead initiatives to integrate sustainable and ethical practices into Wealth Management training programs.Collaborate with RWM Compliance team to proactively adapt training programs to ensure compliance.Ensure audit and compliance related to Wealth Learning & licensing, aligning with internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.Job Requirements:Malaysian citizenUndergraduate degree in Accounting/Banking/Investment/Finance/HR or a related field from any recognized university.Any wealth management related qualification will be an added advantageAt least 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in a financial institutionAbout Hong Leong BankWe are a leading financial institution in Malaysia backed by a century of entrepreneurial heritage.
