Support the planning of analytics needs with Marketing and Retail Operations functions, e.g. (SKU analysis, Buyer analysis, promotions, new product launches, CRM, customer service, retail operations etc.) Lead in preparing reports and developing analysis relative to sales performance tracking to include higher award, promotions, monthly qualifying, Sales Incentives, etc. Lead Data Literacy training amongst business users, e.g. training on BI tools, interpreting Data definition and analysis to non-analytics peers Extracts & analyzes business data to support strategic and tactical decision-making, to assist in long-range business planning, to evaluate the effectiveness of different organizational initiatives, and to support effective, targeted communications. Provide analytical & reporting support to one or more functional areas (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance, etc.). Generates ad-hoc and recurring reports & analyses to assist in tracking various aspects of business performance. Job Requirements: Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Admin, Business Analytics, Computer Science / IT At least 3 years of working experience in business analytics, intelligence, data reporting and analysis. Strong and solid experience in overseeing data capture and consistency issues /initiatives. Must be proficient in Oracle SQL & Knowledge in Tableau/Power BI Understanding of Big Data Analysis & Machine Learning, application capability into analysis Requires senior level knowledge of the theoretical and applied principles of statistical and quantitative analysis, data mining, and other research methodologies Strong understanding of SQL along with some prior experience writing SQL queries for mining data from a data warehouse. Basic project management skills (e.g., requirement gathering, planning, scheduling, monitoring, cost/benefit analysis)
