Reporting to the Senior Accountant, Regional Finance (MY), this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Regional Finance and its' growth.Key responsibilities:

Operate as part of Finance SSC.
Reporting to Assistant Manager, support Finance Director on finance business partnering role to a global business unit.
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and schedules to support business performance review.
Prepare month-end closing analysis. This includes revenue and cost reconciliation, identifying & preparing relevant adjustment schedules, and working with other GSC Finance teams to ensure transaction is booked accurately and timely.
Assist in budget and forecasting initiatives.
Assist in financial and client data reconciliation and ad hoc requests.
Undertake ad hoc projects as needed.

Key requirements:

At least 2 years of relevant experience in record to accounting/ reporting area.
Degree in Finance and/or Accounting or an equivalent qualification
Computer proficiency in MS Office/ Excel Applications
Good written and oral communication skills in English & Chinese
Team player with good people and communication skills.
Must possess good customer service skills.
Able to work under pressure in meeting deadlines. Hardworking.
Results-oriented and detail-minded person.
Highly motivated with ability to deal with ambiguities, able to work within ill-defined boundaries.
