The relationship with our client started in 2009 and has been growing globally within the IFM sector, extensively covering EMEA and APAC, while recently expanding into Construction projects The account has a portfolio more than 17.5 M sq/ft, across 20 countries with larger sites located in China, Malaysia, India, Vietnam, Ireland and Israel. with 850 staff on JLL’s payroll and 2,100 dedicated vendor staff. The client is expanding rapidly across the regions, so in the next 1.5 years, another 2.5m sqm will be added to the portfolio. For our client across the super region, we execute the majority of FM and small construction project services, both technical and non-technical on behalf of our client.Our customer is a real partner, data & process driven, careful yet driven to making continual improvement and always in search of excellence. You need to be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership, with a customer service mind-set and a keen ability to think strategically, operationally, and innovatively to the benefit of both JLL and the client. The Region. The Reliability engineer (RE) will be a key factor in developing this ongoing client relationship.The RE is a new role for the account and is a great opportunity for a dynamic self-starter, the role will be pivotal in driving the account success, the role will operate within APAC which offers a diverse mix of cultures, responsible to provide the focus and support to meet the accounts strategic objectives, acting as the single point of contact and support for the site teams.The opportunity is to develop our engineering teams to approach maintenance of systems in a different way, moving towards a more predictive outlook in terms of break downs and maintenance. This should be considered as an opportunity to achieve more, and this should be considered just the initial starting point for success.The RE must be able to work independently, communicate in a clear and concise manner and drive change with and through people, at different organizational levels and functional roles, while capable of navigating effectively, Intel's internal change control process, able to back up initiatives with data and logic to inspire confidence of potential change.This role will work closely with the Data hub team, to help drive consistency and track changes and optimize results. Stage 1 is to understand what we currently do and identify where we can be more effective. The primary goal is to become a predictive service, rather than a break fix, repair service.Here is what we’re looking for:

Working across the Asia to effectively communicate and support the site engineering delivery.
An in depth of experience in the manufacturing industry, familiar with BMS/SCADA control and Industrial processes such as, PCW / OFA, /HVAC, electrical distribution, generation, renewables.
Able to embrace and develop new technology, all concepts are welcome.
Develop further use of Real wear / motion amplification / leak detection/ Thermal imaging as the primary support technology.
Must be able to clearly define and align success criteria, measurable metrics, control variables and proof of concept / pilot plan and support viable proposed initiatives. Selection will be supported based on the historical baseline data, identify the sites with highest value potential to implement pilot and proof of concept.

The role deals with an array of premises types, offices, labs and factories, As RE, you must be able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the installed systems and services and processes, to be able to identify and advise, where risk can be reduced and predictive approaches can be deployed.
The RE must be able to exchange, engage, convey, and express their technical knowledge, acting as the account subject matter expert, whose creative ideas are expressed in a way that can be understood easily and quickly by their non-technical team members.
Structured approach to problem solving, using facts and data. Technical Expertise to be able to arrange and retrieve energy data (is key. It helps if you can synthesize your technical expertise with some financial know-how.
Sometimes your work will require fast – and costly – choices that require a savvy combination of negotiation, risk management, and critical thinking skills. You’ll also need to know how to develop and assess business cases and how to detect energy efficiency opportunities.
Multi-tasking and the ability to priorities tasks are key, the balance of organization with patience, is required and can take time to deliver concrete results, knowing how to manage the interim expectation while finding new ways to deliver value is key.
Problem solving skill set, providing the correct level of leadership support to overcome local barriers.
Ability to extract and translate customer expectations into actionable strategic actions through good communication and vision at various levels. Lead the local team to meet and deliver the objectives.

Duties

Lead by example and holds the organization accountable for demonstrating Ownership and Accountability.
Deliver change for the account.
Report on progress on a monthly basis, with forward projected forecast.
Drive and coach site teams to follow structure and process for problem solving and root cause investigation.
Directly responsible for clear definition proliferation and standardization of operational procedures for the system / systems in scope
Represent JLL at key client meetings.
Support and promote growth and scope change measures to meet client expectations.
Drive innovation, by applying smart building technology as a priority.
Responsible to ensure highest Engineering standards across the sites, always.

Qualifications

Certified Accreditation via SMRP or equivalent
Degree Qualified, in a relevant field – Electrical/Mechanical/ I&C/HVAC,
Preferred - 5 years of Energy management experience in factory / facilities environment.
A proven track record in the field of Reliability &/or predictive engineering
Level 5 English both spoken and written.
A passion to drive change and get results.
