Do you want to be shaping and driving a transformational initiative, part of Swift’s technology strategy?We are seeking a passionate and energetic leader with vision, ready to join the Technology Platform leadership group, to create a reliable and efficient system for delivering Technology Platform services, driven by a well-established service catalogue, an established service management operating model, with centralized Management of Services, a Service Catalogue, and the relevant management frameworks for our assets, services, and technology portfolio.Introduction to the Function:Our company progresses on making international transactions faster, smarter, and better, in a constantly changing world and a competitive marketplace. Innovations in the cross-border payments landscape are introduced, new technology enables new opportunity. At the same time, the industry – and Swift – navigate through uncertainty (permacrisis), and Swift keeps relentless focus and strong track records on the reliability and resiliency of our services and platform, and our technology infrastructure and capabilities undergo transformation.To be scalable and fast-to-market, we aim to automate, standardize, and simplify the “tech layer” underneath our “business offering”. As the Technology Platform group, we aspire to be a provider of technology services rather than a supplier of technology capabilities.This requires a service framework and a service delivery mindset, upon which we can build out service maturity, service compliance and service cost management, to manage risk, performance, and investment decisions, which in turn will drive increased operational efficiency, reduced costs, and a stronger edge in delivering our services.What to Expect:To lead the newly created Operate-as-a-Service Transformation initiative (global virtual team), and to materialize our ambition explained above. This requires a vision with stakeholder buy-in, a roadmap across tools, processes, people, skills, and mindset, throughout the transformation journey (2027 horizon).The IT Asset and Service Management teams (based in NL and KL) reporting to you (10 to 12 employees), are responsible for Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Service Management and Configuration Management.To be accountable for the Operate-as-a-Service outcomes, lead a transversal team with vision, co-create and deliver with buy-in and collaboration, justify and secure required investments in the initiative, do what it takes to have all stakeholders onboard, and keeping all up to date on where we stand.To be a Role-model our corporate values and leadership behaviors in managing people and setting them to be successful.What will make you successful?Relevant expertise: A university degree, preferably in Information Technology or Engineering with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.Strong vision and Leadership skills – You demonstrated strategizing, transforming, setting direction in terms of how to operate and run technology services. You can be bold and fast in execution and bring strong proven transformation experience. Ideally in a mission-critical environment.IT Service Management Experience – Experience in using ServiceNow capabilities is a plus.A Servant leadership style - You can empower teams, inspire, and challenge. You can lead without authority in a complex environment.Agile practices to navigate the complexities of a large program – You have experience with installing predictable delivery, assessing & improving way of working continuously, ensuring that progress, challenges, and impediments are transparently communicated.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, thoughtful stakeholder management – You are equipped to engage with engineers, senior audiences, diverse internal stakeholders. You create buy-in, listen to customer needs.
