Job Responsibilities Lead and support the Atlassian Jira Datacenter to Cloud migration process, including hands-on experience in pre-migration and post-migration activities for Jira Software. Collaborate with global teams to plan, execute, and validate successful migration during designated weekend migration windows. Participate in meetings and collaboration sessions with North America and Asia teams during evening Asia time. Manage and develop Jira Cloud solutions post-migration. Administer Jira Cloud instances to ensure optimal performance, compliance, and scalability. Design and implement custom scripts/plugins to enhance Jira functionality. Integrate Jira with third-party applications and services using REST APIs. Maintain and develop workflows using Add-ons such as ScriptRunner, JSU, JWT, etc. Implement UI or service features using Forge, React, Angular, or other JavaScript frameworks. Query and manage data from MS SQL Server Databases, including connecting via scripts for reporting and automation. Skill Requirements Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira Datacenter to Cloud migration, including pre-migration and post-migration tasks. Familiarity with Atlassian Add-ons (e.g., ScriptRunner, JSU, JWT) and plugin development. Proficiency in REST API creation and calling. Scripting experience in Python or other programming languages. Knowledge of Forge platform and modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular. Experience in MS SQL Server, including writing complex SQL queries and handling database connections from scripts. Atlassian Jira Cloud Administrator experience since 2024 or earlier. Academic Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
