- Lead client coverage activities, originate deals, and maintain strong, effective relationships within the assigned client portfolio. Serve as the primary contact and relationship owner for your clients.
- Provide strategic insights and advisory to clients based on deep industry knowledge and market trends. Support clients in navigating complex financial decisions and aligning solutions with long-term goals.
- Lead due diligence efforts on transactional banking products by developing and maintaining robust databases to support red-flag screening for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions compliance. Ensure transactions meet regulatory standards and risk frameworks.
- Drive cross-sell initiatives in partnership with product teams (e.g., Transaction Banking, Treasury) to deliver tailored financial solutions that meet client needs.
- Lead the development and execution of annual account plans, identify growth opportunities, and drive new business initiatives. Leverage market intelligence and client insights to shape strategic direction and expand wallet share.
- Ensure timely submission of credit proposals, renewals, interim monitoring reports, deal presentation materials, and support the credit process and KYC/GRO renewal requirements.
- Lead client meetings and prepare marketing materials for both existing and prospective clients, including risk/return assessments at both transaction and relationship levels.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure adherence to internal guidelines, sales processes, and service standards, aiming to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Preferably a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience, especially in Commercial or Corporate Banking.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- High level of energy, enthusiasm, and motivation.
- Good knowledge of banking regulatory environment, relevant laws and regulations, industry trends, and products.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to deal with internal employees or external customers/clients.
