This is a new position to assist the existing Manager in setting up the Revenue Assurance Unit and to provide support to the current team members in monitoring the revenue and inventory recording at outlets. Responsibilities: Support month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data for revenue recognition Analyze cost of sales by stores, identify inaccuracies and assess the reasonableness of the cost against revenue. Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for revenue transactions and inventory balance. Contribute to process improvements within the revenue & cost accounting functions. To assist in developing and establishing the Revenue Assurance policy, procedures and guidelines based on identified areas and controls. To aid in identifying the key risk areas on revenue recognition, develop prevention and detective controls (manual/automated/semi-auto). To identify revenue risk areas and implement relevant controls. To support the existing tasks handled by existing 2 key team members Qualification/Experience/Skill required: Degree in accounting/finance or professional qualification, 4-5 years of working experience in auditing or accounting roles Strong Excel skills, including the ability to create complex formulas and pivot tables Experience with data analysis and financial reporting tools Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work Business acumen and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and systems A background in revenue assurance is a bonus Show more Show less
