Optimize network performance through regular maintenance and configuration adjustments. Installation and System Upgrades: Deploy and configure a variety of network equipment, including but not limited to routers, switches, WAPs (Wireless Access Points), and ensure their compatibility within ethernet, fiber and wireless frameworks. Comprehensive Cabling Solutions : Execute expert installation, management, and troubleshooting of cabling infrastructures, including copper for Ethernet networks and fiber optics for high-speed connections, ensuring optimal network performance and reliability. Wireless Network Expertise: Implement and manage wireless networking solutions, including the setup of WAPs, ensuring secure and efficient wireless connectivity across data centers. Documentation and Process Improvement: Support documentation of network setups, configurations, and optimizations. Continually assess and recommend improvements to network install area, cabling, and other infrastructure setup. Collaboration: Collaborate with NOC and network engineering teams to troubleshoot, deploy and enhance operational efficiency. Requirements: Ability to set up and configure server hardware Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies Own set of tools including a laptop, hotspot, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Basic computer skills with the ability to provide IT support and troubleshoot network issues. Familiarity with data center environments and in-depth knowledge of servers and network equipment.
