Senior Security Engineer

• Lead security operations reporting to Head of IT Security.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures aligned with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system, network, and data security.
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance security posture.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Manage and maintain security technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus solutions, etc.
• Configure and optimize security tools for threat prevention and detection.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for compliance.
• Streamline and standardize endpoint protection and host hardening.
• Conduct security awareness training programs for employees.
• Lead security-related projects ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud security trends and technologies, providing recommendations for improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; IT security degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, or information security.
• Proficiency with security technologies/tools like web proxy, zero trust network access, XDR, antimalware, VPN, etc.
• Proven track record in leading and managing security projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Experience with specific security tools: Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access, Crowdstrike Falcon, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, on-premise firewall, IDS/IPS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, AWS, or Alibaba certifications.
