Job Description : The Performance Tester works collaboratively with developers, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to identify performance bottlenecks, optimize application behaviour under load, and ensure seamless digital experiences for internal and external customers. The focus will be on performance planning, test scripting, execution, analysis, and tuning to enhance system reliability, scalability, and responsiveness in a fast-paced, value-driven delivery pipeline. Identify critical flows, and system architecture to plan the performance testing. Create robust script using required protocols and maintain in GitHub. Use Unix/Linux shell scripts to analyze backend server resource utilization. Identify DB-related bottlenecks and recommend indexing/optimization strategies. Provide tuning recommendations and work with Dev/Infra teams to fix them. Contribute to Postman API testing for BAU. Monitor performance at staging level and prepare comparative report after changes. Job Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical background. Min 3+ years of experience in: Performance testing and performance engineering in banking applications using different protocols. Should have experience with Database performance testing and tuning (AWR reports) Should have experience in understanding Java applications for performance - JVM, Heap Dump and Thread dump analysis, garbage collections. Deep understanding of Scrum practices and Agile frameworks Experience in Environment capacity planning based on performance test result analysis. Proficient in fiddler, Postman, LoadRunner, JMeter, GitHub, locust, Jira, Confluence Should have knowledge on cloud performance engineering APM tools - Cloud Watch, Grafana, Dyantrace etc. and monitor using Linux scripts wherever required. Should be able to pin point the system bottleneck and suggest the solution. Highly organized, thorough, and capable of managing complex test scenarios independently.
