- Build strong relationships with Business Professional Sales teams to pursue S&S opportunities.
- Drive sales of Signify's public connected lighting offers including business case outcomes for new innovations. Full understanding of customer needs to drive innovation cycle.
- Supports Business Professional KAMs by helping set the vision for target customers and how to win.
- Support on major projects identified by Key Account Managers.
- Pipeline development in collaboration with Business Professional Sales organisation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with major customers, positioning Signify as the market leader.
- Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of Signify’s Connected Lighting portfolio.
- Provide expertise & create tailored solutions to improve lighting systems, enhancing customer experience, productivity, safety, and sustainability.
- Drives thought leadership on connected lighting/IoT and brand preference in relevant ecosystems.
- Participate in customer and industry events, delivering technical presentations as needed.
- Builds S&S competencies – Commercial excellence, Technical AND Digital
- Achieve targeted sales growth.
- Maintain market intelligence on distributors, customers, competitors, regulations, and market dynamics to provide insights.
- Recommend strategies and tactics for regional success.
- Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams on future needs.
- Develop marketing collateral and business cases to support new projects and sales prospects.
- Assist customers in modelling business cases.
- Work with bid teams to manage and deliver tender responses.
- Coordinate resources to address customer issues.
- Foster a Customer First and Radical Collaboration mindset and actions.
- 5+ years of proven track record in account/relationship management and consultative selling principles in a fast-paced technology industry.
- 5+ years of strong history of quota achievement with stellar experience presenting products and services to accounts.
- Experience in selling complex offerings consisting of multiple building blocks (e.g., diverse hardware, software, services).
- Deep technical understanding of the underlying technologies associated with smart lighting solutions.
- Commercial listening and questioning skills, with the ability to win a seat at the right customer table.
- Skilled in one-to-many negotiations, able to create demand for solutions by leveraging empathy and trust-based relationships.
- Interpersonal skills, including leading cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Financial acumen and commercial savviness.
- A full driving license.
