This position sits within the Data Management Department at HMI Managed Healthcare , reporting directly to the Head of Data Management. The role focuses on supporting the company's data-driven initiatives by performing in-depth analysis and generating meaningful reports. You will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights to support business decisions, while working closely with the Head of Department on strategic reporting and analytics projects. Job Description Data Analysis and Insight Generation Perform in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis pertaining to all medical claims data, including surrounding details such as medication, procedures etc Ability to analyse structured data and organise unstructured data into a workable and user-friendly format. Management Report and Dashboarding Assist HOD in producing and generating all BAU reports for partners/clients and circulate reports to relevant stakeholders on a timely basis. Develop automation for high quality BAU reports Support presentation to clients / insurers on claims performance Ensure scripts and algorithms are scalable and usable with minimum intervention in the future Business Collaboration Close collaboration with other Ops departments through diligent data mining to understand their data needs, align data initiative with business objectives. Close collaboration with IT department to ensure data integrity and consistency. Proactive involvement in project initiatives using supporting data Required Competencies Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field Minimum of 5 years' experience in a data analytics or data management role Proficient in data mining tool such as SQL, Power BI and Python Meticulous with strong compliance stance with regards to data integrity and security Aptitude to learn, present, think independently to solve operational and business issues using available data Ability to work in collaborative team environment Knowledge of medical or insurance field is an added advantage.
