- Manage a team of corporate secretarial staff in all aspects of secretarial functions
- Manage client servicing and relationship building with the assigned portfolio of companies
- Ensures client entities' statutory compliance and deliver quality service efficiently.
- Handles all day-to-day corporate secretarial functions of entities under own portfolio. Review of statutory forms, resolutions and documents prepared by team members
- Assists in carrying out technical training program, conduct on the job training, carries out regular discussion with team members on technical issue.
- Advise, guide and/or alert clients on regulatory updates and statutory issues.
- Monitor Assistant's turnaround time and works to improve on staff efficiency on jobs that Assistant has handled inefficiently.
- Identifies team members' strengths and weaknesses and works with them to develop competency.
- Possess CGI (ICSA) Qualification and is a member of MAICSA.
- At least 8 years of company secretarial experience, preferably in professional firms/ private limited/ public listed companies' experience.
- Must be familiar with Companies Act, Listing Requirements, etc.
- Good organizational skills in relation to documentation and work processes.
- Possesses a strong sense of responsibility, positive disposition, initiative, high integrity and able to work under strict deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills, team player, yet able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English skills.
