Key Responsibilities : Strategic Sales Leadership To work with Senior Management to formulate and lead the implementation of the company's overarching sales strategy for the commercial business in Malaysia, aligning it with business objectives to ensure sustainable revenue growth and profitability. Set measurable sales targets and regularly review performance against goals to drive accountability and continuous improvement. Striving for high performance levels. Sales Campaign Development & Execution To work with the team to design, plan and execute targeted sales campaigns and marketing initiatives aimed at expanding market reach and increasing product/service adoption across customer segments. Ensuring creative and unique campaigns are developed benefits our partners, vendors and sales staff Leverage data and analytics by understanding customer behaviour and buying patterns in order to optimize campaign performance and return on investment (ROI). Ensuring each campaign is profitable to the organisation. Team Leadership & Performance Management Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and team objectives across different geographical areas across Malaysia. Establish clear KPIs, conduct regular performance evaluations, and implement skill development initiatives to enhance team capabilities and strive for championship behaviour within the team. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional departments (QA, Production, Warehouse, Product Development, HR and Finance) to ensure cohesive execution of strategic plans and customer satisfaction. Provide sales insights and market intelligence during business planning and forecasting sessions to enhance the accuracy of the process. Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management Foster long-term relationships with key clients, distributors, and strategic partners to ensure customer loyalty and repeat business. Serve as a senior point of contact for resolving critical client issues and maintaining a strong brand reputation. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis Continuously monitor market conditions, customer needs, emerging trends, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities or risks. Use insights to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge. Deal Negotiation & Closure Lead negotiations for major deals and key accounts, ensuring commercially sound agreements that align with business profitability goals. Provide support to the sales team in complex negotiations or contract terms. Strategic Contribution & Business Growth Actively contribute to the company's long-term strategic direction, including new market entry, product diversification, and revenue stream expansion. Support corporate growth initiatives through the identification and development of business opportunities. Qualifications : Minimum 20 years of experience in sales management and commercial leadership roles, with a focus on the manufacturing industry. Experience in the agriculture industry is an added advantage. Proven expertise in strategic sales management, including campaign development and execution. Fluency in Mandarin dialect is preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically and drive results.
