The company operates across diverse industries such as automotive, healthcare, and advanced materials, delivering innovative solutions and sustainable products worldwide.Role SummaryThe Senior Finance & Accounting - Assistant Manager position is a key role within the Finance & Accounting team. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with reporting standards, and support management in achieving business objectives. This role requires a balance of technical accounting expertise, leadership skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, including monthly account closing, preparation of Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets, cash flow management, accounts receivable/payable, and fixed assets.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to headquarters and regulatory authorities, including statutory submissions, audits, and production reports.Liaise with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions to manage banking operations, fund transfers, and reconciliations.Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies by applying continuous improvement principles, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.Support management in financial planning, decision-making, and other ad-hoc tasks as required, contributing to overall business objectives.RequirementsDegree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin (spoken) is an advantage.Skilled in MS Office and accounting systems.Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.Own transport is required.Compensation & BenefitsMonthly salary: RM 5,500 - RM 8,000 (based on experience)Annual bonus, allowancesMedical, dental, and personal accident insurance coverageEPF, SOCSO contributionsWorking hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmSub Specialization : Finance;Accountant;Audit & Risk;Costing;Finance Managers, Controllers & Directors;Tax;Finance Analyst;Management Accountant;Account Executive;Business Analyst;Account Payable;Account Receivable;General Ledger;Corporate Finance;Others
