Technical Business Development (Kuching, Sarawak)

• Develop and execute the company's business development strategy for geotechnical engineering products and solutions in East Malaysia
• Relationship development with government departments.
• Identify and develop new consultants & contractor working geotechnical engineering in East Malaysia
• Nurture and grow business via lead conversion, trade show contacts, and canvassing lead generation.
• Research, identify and develop potential opportunities for new business

• Run design analysis and develop techno commercial proposals in coordination with Technical team.
• Provide technical support to stakeholders in market as and when required.
• Work with team to develop presentations and documents.

• Establish, develop and retain relationship with Government authorities, developers, consultants, and contractors.
• Develop and execute a lead to customer cycle that allows exceeding sales and revenue target, through pipeline management.
• Develop client portfolio to expand targeted business growth.

• Develop and execute business development activities, in coordination with the sales and commercial team. This includes activities to enhance the awareness of Maccaferri hydraulics solution in the local industry.
• Represent the company at trade shows and other industry events
• Maintain knowledge of developments in the hydraulics engineering field

• At least 5 years' experience in geotechnical related projects whether in consultant, contractor, supplier or government authority capacity.
• Broad commercial experience in the local market.
• Possess good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin, and able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, mature, and highly initiative to work independently.
• Ability to travel as needed.

• Degree in Civil Engineering is must.
• Masters in geotechnical engineering or business is preferred.
