Job DescriptionThe purchasing clerk is responsible for providing efficient administrative
and operational support to the procurement and marketing team. Key
duties include processing purchase orders, maintaining accurate records,
coordinating with vendors & customers, verifying deliveries, and ensuring
timely fulfillment of departmental purchasing needs.
  • Purchase Order processing: Create, review, and process PO accurately and
  • promptly. Confirm pricing, quantities, and delivery details with suppliers
  • and customers.
  • Vendor Coordination: Communicate with vendors regarding order status,
  • discrepancies, and delivery schedule. Maintain positive supplier and
  • customer relationships and assist in resolving issues.
  • Inventory & Record Management: Update and maintain reports(e.g., open
  • PO, delivery status, cost tracking)
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports (e.g., open PO,
  • and delivery recipients, resolve discrepancies)
  • Departmental Support: Collaborate with warehouse, marketing,
  • accounting, and operational teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Compliance: Ensure adhere to company procurement policies and
  • procedures.
Qualifications :
  • Candidate must posses at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • At least 1 Year(s) of sales experience in palm oil industry.
  • Preferable Mandarin speaking candidates due to better communication with our China team colleague as they are from China
Required Skills:
  • Well communication skill, knowledge of Ms office, Self-Motivated, Work Independently With Minimal Supervision.
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Palm Oil Industry.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with key individual.
  • Identify potential customers and set strategies to align customers with our recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities and strategies to develop new business with assigned territory.
  • Preferable with experience in PALM OIL INDUSTRY.
  • Able to travelling.
Candidate who is experience in Palm Oil industry is repreferrable. Working
place is at Jalan Tun Ahamaz Zaidi Adruce, Sibu.
