Lean Six Sigma Lead - APAC Based in Malaysia or India - Full time, Home based About The Role This is a new and exciting opportunity as Lean Six Sigma Lead to support our APAC Region. Reporting to the Global Head of Service Manager (based in the UK) this is a key role to develop and foster a Service Management culture within the global IT. You will be the primary focal as well as owner of key ITSM to delivery processes excellence & Lean Six Sigma improvements globally within BSI IT. The role is to be integral to the successful deliver and management of core processes improvements through compliance, influencing and guide stakeholders within IT functions, to ensure the consistent delivery of IT services to BSI colleagues globally. The role will lead and mentor a BSI IT on PEX best practices and to develop a service culture from 1st principles. Responsibilities Creates and maintains the availability plan, and provides advice, assistance and leadership associated with the planning and design of service and component availability. Process Improvement: Identify and analyze existing processes, applying Lean and Six Sigma principles to streamline operations, reduce defects, and optimize efficiency. Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods and data analysis tools to identify root causes of problems, make data-driven decisions, and monitor project progress. Training and Coaching: Provide training and mentorship to project teams and stakeholders on Lean Six Sigma methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Change Management: Drive and manage change initiatives, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of process improvements. Metrics and Reporting: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process performance, and regularly report progress to leadership. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and monitor adherence to standards, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products or services. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and finance, to identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with process improvements, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. To Be Successful In The Role, You Will Have Typically educated to bachelor degree level and holds a relevant professional qualification. Strong experience in a Lean Six Sigma role at BLACK BELT level is essential. Strong knowledge and experience of current service technologies and PEX/Lean Six Sigma methodologies Ability to work autonomously under broad direction, take responsibility for meeting allocated technical and/or project/supervisory objectives. Strong influencing skills - influences organisation, customers, suppliers, partners and peers on the contribution of own specialism. Builds appropriate and effective business relationships. Makes decisions which impact the success of assigned work, i.e. results, deadlines and budget. Demonstrable experience of performing an extensive range and variety of complex technical and/or professional work activities. Leadership experience with the ability to demonstrate collaboration between stakeholders who have diverse objectives. Analyses, designs, plans, executes and evaluates work to time, cost and quality targets. Analyses requirements and advises on scope and options for continuous operational improvement.
