Responsibilities: Manage and monitor all credit-related activities within the department to ensure compliance with the Bank's credit policies and regulatory requirements. Execute Credit Proposal/ Credit Review (CP/CR) processes accurately and timely in alignment with internal guidelines and external regulations. Oversee and track CP/CR for customers with cash-backed facilities, such as Bank Guarantees (BG) and Foreign Exchange/ Foreign Exchange Options (FX/FXO) lines. Maintain and update credit assessments and scoring for borrowing customers within the department to support informed decision-making. Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG ) name screenings, along with relevant credit and company background checks, ensuring full regulatory compliance. Ensure that Customer-to-Customer (C2C) linkages are accurately maintained and updated by relationship managers. Provide expert advisory and guidance to Cash Relationship Managers (RMs) on credit-related matters to facilitate risk mitigation and business growth. Requirements: Hold a recognized degree, preferably in Business Accounting, Banking & Finance, or Economics, with 1-2 years of experience in credit risk management, credit analysis, or related roles within the banking or financial services industry. Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or relevant credit risk qualifications are highly desirable. Proven experience in managing credit proposals and conducting credit reviews is strongly preferred. Solid understanding of credit policies, credit risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements. Familiarity with credit facilities including Bank Guarantees (BG), Foreign Exchange (FX), and Foreign Exchange Options (FXO) is an advantage. Experience in performing AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) screenings and compliance checks. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of efficiently handling multiple credit proposals and reviews simultaneously. Ability to accurately interpret and apply regulatory guidelines and internal credit policies. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to provide advisory support to Relationship Managers and foster collaboration across teams. High level of integrity and professionalism in managing sensitive financial information. Proactive in identifying credit risks and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
