  • Assist the Regulatory Affairs Director to provide the regulatory and policy support for the Nutrition product portfolio, import-export and Halal matters in Malaysia & Brunei.
  • Supervise the on-going emerging regulatory & Code of Ethics movement, regulatory compliance and registration of Nutrition product labels.
  • Support the Regulatory Affairs Director to provide regulatory and Code of Ethics support and consultancy to internal and external customers in line with the company's business objectives and achieving effective speed to-market.
  • Liaise with internal commercial team, supply chain team, manufacturing plant team, global/regional regulatory, R&D teams, and work closely with external partners, to ensure that regulatory, safety and import-export issues are properly managed and resolved.
  • Coach and provide key support to daily operation of Regulatory Affairs team.
Your responsibilitiesRegulatory Affairs - Nutrition
  • Ensure any registration and regulatory compliance of Nutrition marketed products with relevant national regulatory requirements to bring competitive advantage to our brands.
Documentation Management System
  • Monitor the new ingredients petition dossiers is submitted to authorities as per agreed timeline.
  • Supervise regulatory documentation filing system, LEX job request, COE approval code expiry & renewal tracking, label registration tracking, FIFEC complaints.
Regulatory Requirements
  • Update the regulatory requirement (RR) database of local regulatory requirements into OPTIVA system.
  • Stay abreast with the existing and new regulatory amendments & issues and constantly update local, regional and global team on the regulatory movement to ensure the company is aware of significant local regulatory issues and proactively leading the development and implementation of strategies to ensure regulatory compliance efforts that result in competitive advantage.
  • Acts as key contact point to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy of messages on Nutrition products.
The experience we're looking for
  • Must have at least a degree in Nutrition / Food Technology / Food Science or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in FMCG or food industry
  • Highly knowledgeable with Food Act and Regulations as well as Code of Ethics; and knowledge on International Regulation Standard is an added advantage.
  • Good working relationship with related government agencies and regulatory bodies.
  • Pro-active self-direction with a high level of initiative and persistence and a very much hands on approach to results delivery.
  • The ability to effectively manage projects and relationships with local partners, contractors and consultants to achieve Reckitt's objectives.
