To complement our team, we are looking for a customer- and teamoriented individual for the business area Group Functions at the Penang site as aIT Support SpecialistFor over 75 years, we have been following our curiosity. We work together today on the solutions for tomorrow - in close cooperation with our customers and always with high quality standards.What you will do:

Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, or ticketing systems in a timely and professional manner.
Provide first-level technical support and helpdesk assistance for hardware, software, and network issues.
Log, track, and manage helpdesk tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution. Assist users with password resets, software installations, account setup, and system access.
Monitor system performance and notify IT or engineering teams of any irregularities or outages.
Identify recurring helpdesk issues and work with IT or product teams to implement permanent fixes.

What you bring:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Business, Communications, or related field.
At least 1-3 years of experience in customer support, helpdesk, or technical support roles.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems (Ivanti or ServiceNow).
Basic knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and IT troubleshooting principles.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
