- Perform due diligence tasks such as KYC risk reviews, conflict checks, BR form reviews, and sanctions screening using internal systems and tools.
- Conduct entity verification, documentation validation, and evaluate information in line with firm and regulatory risk policies.
- Support the Independence team with accurate data entry, updates, and reporting related to global independence monitoring systems. Develop and maintain risk mitigation plans, controls, and monitoring mechanisms to reduce exposure to operational risks.
- Escalate potential high-risk findings to senior team members or subject matter leaders (e.g., Independence, General Counsel, Business Risk Leader) where appropriate.
- Ensure timely processing of requests in accordance with SLA, tracking assignment workflows and outstanding items.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with SEA Deloitte risk policies and global independence requirements.
- Collaborate with business units, legal, independence, and technology teams to embed risk controls into core operations.
- Provide guidance, training, and awareness to engagement team on firm's risk policies and best practices.
- Participate in briefings and Risk Operations meetings to share updates and support alignment across risk workstreams.
- Assist in the development, testing, and enhancement of risk tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Power BI, workstream performance dashboards).

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Law, Risk, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in risk operations, compliance, independence, or a related function (strong internship or fresh graduate experience may be considered).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and good documentation skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication, with the ability to liaise professionally across functions and borders.
- Proficient in MS Excel; familiarity with workflow systems such as ServiceNow, Power BI, or GIMS is an advantage.
- Ability to manage deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively in a regional virtual environment.
