Job Description This role offers a blend of Quality Assurance (QA) testing, project management, and advisory responsibilities for the Asia Pacific (APAC) QA and Organizational Change Management (OCM) community. The incumbent will collaborate with various regional and local teams to facilitate QA business and initiatives, assess control execution quality for Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Operations, and assist in QA and control strategy planning. The role is part of the Operations QA hub, a crucial team for continuous monitoring and testing of existing controls to mitigate residual risk and meet regulatory demands. The role's evolution continues to meet the demands of Operation management and control environment, ensuring operation production quality. Regular Management Information System (MIS) reports provide valuable insights for senior management to assess Operational Risk. As an Associate in operations, Quality Assurance & Controls within the APAC QA and OCM community, you will be instrumental in conducting routine quality assurance testing, managing projects, and providing advisory services. Your role will involve close collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to facilitate quality assurance business and various initiatives, and assess the execution quality of the control for Corporate and Investment Bank Operations. You will be tasked with continuous monitoring and testing of existing controls, generating regular Management Information Systems reports, and providing valuable insights for senior management to evaluate Operational Risk. Additionally, you will be responsible for testing and executing quality assurance on Operation Business As Usual performance to support business in a sustainable and healthy manner. Job Responsibilities Perform Quality Assurance in APAC Conduct quality assurance testing on operation implementation according to the testing steps embedded SOP on a timely manner Follow up remediation action and coordinate with action owners for progress tracking and prepare operation related meeting deck within deadline Implement QA Program for APAC CIB Operations - the program should cover across various businesses (e.g. WPO and Markets) Implement the program by partnering with OCM colleagues and Operation partners Perform the QA as a tester or QA reviewer Prepare the Operations QA/control related meeting deck and participate or chair the internal Operation control meetings Deliver Productivity Improvement Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing QA testing process by utilizing Alteryx, IDQ, Qlikview, Tableau, Robotics, Xceptor, AI, or any other digital solution in variety of areas including but not limited to; MIS and report preparation, QA and self-tests, etc. Deliver Automation (optimization) program / AI initiatives of QA process locally/regionally Provide insights of the overall control environment and improvement suggestions Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent Prior experience in either Control/Audit/Operational Risk/Compliance Testing/Operation experience is required Good problem-solving skills to identify, understand and address operational issues with attention to detail and accuracy Good organization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks within tight timeline Good communication skills and ability to approach complex problems in a structured way driving through solutions across multiple stakeholders Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders to ensure decisions are well thought out and can be executed from an operations perspective Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills Prior experience with intellectual automation/AI machine learning /digitalization experience is preferred About Us J.P.
