Responsibilities:Database Management: Create and maintain Postgres geodatabase models.Spatial Data Analysis: Analyze spatial data using mapping software.Map Design: Design digital maps incorporating geographic and other data sources.Reporting and Visualization: Produce reports and data visualizations of geographic data for demonstration purposes.Library Management: Manage a digital library of geographic maps in various file types for demonstration purposes.Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team to develop GIS solutions.Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to gather user information and provide technical assistance.Implementation Support: Provide GIS technical assistance during the implementation stage.Troubleshooting: Assist end users with troubleshooting issues and report to the principal for further assistance if needed.Event Participation: Participate in principal-organized events such as product launches, training sessions, and hands-on workshops.In-house Events: Assist in organizing and supporting in-house events from a technical perspective.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.GIS certifications such as GISP (Geographic Information Systems Professional) are a plus.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a similar industry or with multinational clients.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Postgres and geodatabase management.Strong knowledge of GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).Experience with spatial data analysis and digital map design.Familiarity with data visualization tools.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.Customer-oriented with strong service and troubleshooting skills.Other Requirements:Willingness to participate in external and in-house events.Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and processes.Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or SQL is an added advantage.Joined 5 years agoHR ConsultingRM3,500 / mo.
