Senior Preventive Maintenance Engineer

In your new role you will:
- Regular inspections, adjustments, and servicing of equipment to ensure smooth operation and prevent potential issues. Identify the wear and tear before it causes breakdown.
- Required to prepare maintenance reports, downtime analysis, and improvement proposals.
- Identify opportunities to optimize maintenance tasks to reduce cost, time, and equipment wear.
- Maximize communications delegations to subordinates and to properly follow up on subordinates to make sure they understand instructions given and perform as instructed.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and propose long-term solutions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, PM checklists, and history logs.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic or relevant with minimum 5 years working experience in plating industry will be an advantage.
- Understanding equipment components and maintenance requirements.
- Conducting regular equipment inspections and assessments.
