Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for monitoring shiftly yield by machine. Process control check points ( First Article, SPC, golden unit testing). Optimize machine setting. Machine buyoff. Reject verification and disposition. Run engineering evaluation/DOE. Train trainer/operator on new process or new procedure. To assist the process engineer in achieving test yield target. To maintain and qualify equipment, tools/ fixtures for production used. Perform periodic verification and calibration on equipment/ tools/ fixtures. To provide technical support on process to ensure uninterrupted production. Execute small improvement project to improve process performance and efficiency. Responsible for the overall product yields. Responsible to establish and implement all appropriate actions to improve the yields. Monitoring reaction plans to improve product yield. Responsible for the product documentation (eg. Product specification, etc.). Responsible for product transfer readiness and activities. Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time. Ensure compliance to Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines. Education & Experience Diploma in Engineering Technology (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics). Skills Root cause analysis/problem solving. Process trouble shooting. SPC Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
