- Develop and implement FinOps strategies to optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with engineering, finance, and procurement teams to align financial objectives with technical goals.
- Monitor and analyze cloud spending patterns, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Establish and maintain best practices for cost governance and forecasting.
- Lead cloud cost optimization initiatives, including rightsizing, reserved instances, and savings plans.
- Provide regular reporting on cloud usage and expenses to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards for cloud operations.
- Drive continuous improvement in DevOps and FinOps processes.
- A strong background in cloud infrastructure management and financial operations.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience in cost optimization tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex financial and technical data.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
- A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance.
