In this role, you will contribute to global intercompany accounting, month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting while collaborating with international counterparts to ensure accurate and timely consolidations.Impact You Will MakePrepare and review intercompany charges, month end balances and transactions reconciliations and balance confirmationsAssist with global intercompany module close proceduresCoordinate with global counterparts in different time zones (e.g., America, EMEA, APAC) for global intercompany reconciliations and consolidationsMaintain flexibility in working hours to accommodate critical global deadlinesPrepare manual intercompany invoicePrepare journal transactions for accruals, amortization, allocation, to ensure expenses are properly accrued for month-end closingLiase with auditors and relevant authoritiesAny other ad-hoc assignmentsOur Ideal CandidateBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field3 to 5 years of experience in general ledger or intercompany accounting, preferably a multinational environmentAble to work in an under-pressure environment and adhere to tight deadline reportingKnowledge of ERP system, such as SAP and Oracle would be an added advantageGood Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a cross-cultural, global settingAble to work flexible hours to support global operations and deadlines with different time zonesWhy Join Us?At Cohu Malaysia, we offer a collaborative work environment that fosters growth, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. Record financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
Perform month-end and year-end closings
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
Maintain records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Reconcile intercompany accounts and resolve discrepancies

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting
Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
