They are currently looking for a FP&A Analyst for the APAC region to be based in Melaka. This role offers long-term career growth as a core member of the regional team.Job Summary:The FP&A Analyst plays a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. This position involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to senior management to drive business performance.Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Variance Analysis: Compare actual financial results to forecasts, identifying key drivers of discrepancies.
- Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial insights to senior leadership to guide business decisions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate financial health and performance.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial and operational data to optimize business outcomes.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Assess industry trends and competitor performance to inform strategic planning.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of related FP&A experience in manufacturing industry, preferably with regional exposure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good Excel skills.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin is essential (due to business needs).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- 30% to 50% travel time within the APAC region.
- Willing to work in Melaka (hybrid mode is permitted)
