Job Description POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY The Project Manager leads and coordinates all aspects of the refurbishment and development projects within the airport premises. This role oversees the planning, execution, and completion of various projects aimed at enhancing the airport's infrastructure, facilities, and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Project Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within established timelines and budgets. Essential Position Functions Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for enhancing airport ambience, entertainment offerings, and attractions to drive passenger engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty. Ambience Enhancement: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of ambient elements such as lighting, music, art installations, landscaping, and interior decor to create a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment throughout the airport terminals. Entertainment Programming: Curate and manage a diverse range of entertainment programs, performances, and events tailored to the preferences and interests of passengers, including live music, cultural showcases, exhibitions, and seasonal festivities. Attractions Development: Identify, evaluate, and implement innovative attractions, amenities, and experiential offerings within the airport premises to enhance passenger dwell time, promote retail and dining outlets, and generate incremental revenue streams. Partnership Management: Cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations with entertainment providers, artists, event organizers, local cultural institutions, retail brands, and concessionaires to enrich the airport experience and maximize commercial opportunities. Customer Experience Optimization: Continuously monitor passenger feedback, market trends, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for enhancing the overall customer experience and optimizing the effectiveness of ambience, entertainment, and attraction initiatives. Budget and Financial Management: Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for ambience, entertainment, and attraction initiatives, and ensure prudent allocation of resources to achieve targeted revenue and profitability objectives. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, licensing requirements, and contractual obligations governing the operation of ambience, entertainment, and attraction facilities at T1 Key Challenges Influencing top management and board members. Influencing sponsors, champions and project owners. Influencing stakeholders to adopt new changes. Skills Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere Forward looking with a holistic approach Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others High EQ Relevant Industries External Degree with minimum 7 years relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in project management, with a minimum of 10 years managing complex construction, infrastructure, or development projects, preferably within the aviation industry. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with PMP or equivalent certification preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels. Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental considerations relevant to airport construction and development projects. Proficient in project management software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. Education External Degree in related technical or business discipline Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
