Sales Leadership
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals. Identify and develop new business opportunities and key customer relationships
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize results. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales & marketing team to meet and exceed sales targets
- Manage the sales budget, monitor expenses, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach in South East Asia Countries, Middle East Countries, Asia, Australia Continents, Pakistan, etc.
- Provide sales forecast to BU monthly for production planning. Ensuring seamless sales operations.
- Implementing a strategic plan to enhance the sales team's technical competencies.
- Design and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Oversee all marketing campaigns, digital marketing efforts, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform positioning and product strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Follow closely competitors' activities, analyze their strength & weakness and advise business unit's strategies to counter competition
- Implementation of business transformation initiatives.
- Work closely with logistic & warehouse, finance, and operations teams to align sales and marketing initiatives with overall business strategy.
- Collaborate with senior management on pricing, product development, and market expansion plans.
- Oversee overall activities in terms of raw material sourcing & purchasing, marketing, business development, tolling, logistics etc
- Able to source for commodities (Silica, Rock Phosphates & Coke) for the plant throughout the world and extensive experience in international trading activities;
- Manage departmental budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Analyze sales and marketing data to report on performance and ROI.
- Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to the top management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Relations, Engineering or equivalent is a minimum. Members of a professional body are added advantage;
- Minimum ten (10) years' of marketing, branding and sales experience preferably in a large corporation dealing with chemicals manufacturing industries. Experience in a public listed company would be an advantage;
- Excellent command in English (written & spoken)
- Stakeholder relations / multi-stakeholder coordination working knowledge and experience;
- Proven track record of delivering and sustaining revenue and profit gains within highly competitive markets.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
- Strong strategic and tactical planning skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing winning sales and marketing strategies.
