Job Description In your new role you will: Mentor role and responsible for Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) Identify problems or unfavorable deviations, recommend and execute/implement corrective/improvement actions which enhance the quality, reliability or cost effectiveness in the area of responsibility Provides technical guidance in multiple Fields of Knowledge to Engineers, Assistant engineers and lab technicians pertaining to defect analysis Perform physical analysis on components and module from production and customer returned failures and feedback the analysis findings to customers (external & internal) in the form of reports and photographs Demonstrate medium - high of mental, analytical skills and problem solving. Ability to evaluate the problems and provide the solution. Provide on job training for junior engineers Continuous develop FA techniques/preparation methods/imaging for new requirements to support FE & BE manufacturing need and contribute to upgrade the FA lab as center of Competent Owner of tools assigned by management, Process Owner of Material Characterization and Development Business Process Owned, i.e. Construction Analysis business owner, ICO/FAR/Task Force Carry out PFA specialist job scope: a. SEM/EDX, Analytical Service, AES, etc b. Wafer and package sample preparation inclusive embedded cross-section, chemical delayering Special project ,Contributor for Best Practice Sharing in IFX user group meeting, New tool investment Manage the job loading of her/his field of expertise Responsible for KPI assigned Compliance to lab instruction, VA, APA and SOP, safe chemical handling. Adhere to Environmental, Safety and ESD compliance regulations Ensure 5S in place while in the office and FA lab Makes use of big data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) tools Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have: Ph.D/Master/Degree holder in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Applied Science with major in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science 6+ years of experience in semiconductor or failure analysis field Benefits What we offer you in Kulim In our wafer production in Kulim we are producing more than 100.000 wafer each month.
