Regional Import & Export Manager (Johor)

• Manage all import and export processes, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to align transportation plans with business objectives.
• Oversee the selection and management of freight forwarders and other service providers.
• Ensure accurate documentation and customs clearance for all shipments.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement in transport operations.
• Handle risk management and resolve any issues related to shipments or customs procedures.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers and regulatory agencies.

• Educational background in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing import and export operations within the manufacturing industry, coupled with strong team leadership skills
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong relationship-building skills with port authorities and logistics partners to ensure smooth and efficient cargo handling.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• This role is to be based in Johor Bahru or frequently travel to JB.
