- Prepare a wide range of traditional Chinese dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts, while maintaining authenticity and flavor integrity.
- Demonstrate mastery over various cooking techniques specific to Chinese cuisine, such as stir-frying, steaming, roasting, and wok cooking.
- Develop new recipes and dishes that showcase innovation and creativity while respecting the essence of Chinese flavors.
- Ensure that all ingredients are prepared, cleaned, and organized prior to cooking.
- Cook dishes to order with precision and efficiency, while maintaining consistent taste, texture, and presentation.
- Monitor cooking temperatures, portion sizes, and plating aesthetics to meet quality standards.
- Has minimum 2 years of experience, proven by valid work certificates
- Experience at 4 or 5 stars hotel or resort preferred
- Energetic and positive thinking
- Good physical condition with problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks and team player
