ASSISTANT MANAGER FINANCE The company we serve is Malaysia's pioneering publicly listed independent oil and gas exploration and production entity. Qualifications Possess at least Degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA, ACCA or relevant qualification. Minimum eight (8) years of relevant working experience in auditing (preferably with the Big Four) and/or accounting Well verse with MFRS/IFRS accounting and statutory financial statements requirements. Possess strong organizational capabilities, including managing deadlines with multiple stakeholders. Possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Self-motivated and ability to work in a team. Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Proficient in English Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred. Experience in Malaysia PSC JV accounting and group financial reporting Experience in SUN System. Experience in KLSE (Bursa) reporting. Duties and Responsibilities Overseeing financial reporting activities for subsidiaries/Business Units (BUs) operating under Malaysia Private Limited Companies (PSCs). Conducting reviews and analyses of subsidiaries/BUs under Malaysia PSCs, involving active supervision of annual budget submissions, periodic forecasting, budget monitoring, cash flow planning, tax compliance, tax planning, and adherence to relevant accounting policies. Facilitating the exchange of information between Group Finance and subsidiaries/BUs under Malaysia PSCs. Holding overall responsibility for the financial reporting of subsidiaries/BUs under Malaysia PSCs. Managing the review and preparation of monthly financial statements, along with providing inputs for quarterly and annual reporting requirements. Responsible for review of subsidiaries/BUs under Malaysia PSCs annual budget submission, periodic forecasting, budget monitoring, tax compliance, tax planning, and adherence to all relevant accounting policies. Work closely with subsidiaries/BUs' Finance department and reporting team, to enhance quality and timeliness of deliverables. Assists in cash flow planning of subsidiaries/BUs under Malaysia PSCs, taking into consideration requirements of other BUs of the Group. Promote consistency and alignment of processes/format across subsidiaries/BUs under Malaysia PSCs. Other ad-hoc duties as prescribed by superiors and to assist in achieving Finance Department's objectives.
