Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic and regional initiatives (e.g. client tiering and trade finance sandbox strategy implementation, transformation of regional operating business model and team structure, standardization of common business practices and processes across markets). Translate strategic roadmaps into executable projects with clearly defined objectives, deliverables, and KPIs. Act as central point of coordination between CIBC and key stakeholders including various CIBC Country Heads, Risk, Operations, Technology, Finance, and Compliance. Establish and manage detailed project plans, charters, milestones, and resource allocation. Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and changes, ensuring timely resolution and escalation. Regularly report project status to senior management and project sponsors, highlighting achievements and gaps. Partner closely with CIBC Country Heads, Product Teams (e.g. Loans, Trade, Cash, FX and IB), and Coverage Bankers to align execution with strategic priorities. Facilitate cross-functional working groups to drive alignment and accountability. Ensure compliance with internal project management standards, bank policies, and regulatory requirements. Define and monitor strategic metrics/KPIs to evaluate the success of initiatives (e.g. client penetration, wallet share growth, process digitization). Prepare insights and dashboards to support senior management decision-making. Key Requirements Bachelor&aposs Degree in the relevant discipline. 5 years of experience in project management, strategy execution, or transformation roles within the banking industry. Strong understanding of Wholesale Banking products and workflows (Trade Finance, Lending, Cash Management, Treasury & Markets and Investment Banking).
