Job Description JOB TITLE: Account Assistant cum Credit Control DEPARTMENT: Finance LOCATION: Kuala Lumpur JOB TYPE: Full time EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Permanent Overview We are looking for a talented and experienced Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Account Executive will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining accounting records, processing payroll, handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing tax returns, and conducting audits. Duties & Responsibilities Assist in preparing a full set of accounts and monthly financial reports. Ensure timely submission of management reports and data variance analysis Responsible on day to day accounting operation activities. Liaise with internal/external auditors, tax agent and company secretary for all the relevant matters. Assist in the preparation of tax computation submission with tax schedules to the local tax agent. Assist with forecasting and budgeting exercises. Any other duties as assigned by superior. Qualifications & Job Requirements Possesses at least a Diploma in Accounting, Degree, Professional Certificate, or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience. Proficient in MS Office and computerized accounting environment. A fast learner and willing to learn new tasks given. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with all levels of staff. Proactive, independent, meticulous, attention to detail & under pressure within tight deadlines. English fluency is a must.
