2. To provide reporting, analysis and strategic market information with business implications/ recommendation to support effective and efficient business decisions.
3. Able to analyze sales figures, understand and identify target customer preferences, future trends and challenges with detailed analysis to anticipate product needs as per Market Trend.
4. To monitor on the sales progress and performance weekly & monthly; providing weekly & monthly category, sales & margin analysis.
5. Liaise with local and overseas suppliers for product sourcing, and pricing requirements. Analyze pricing and negotiate best costing for product quote by supplier with 5 Rs (Right source, Right price, Right quality, Right timing and Right quantity).
6. Negotiate agreement terms with vendors.
7. Monitor stock levers and forecast purchasing quantity.
8. Manage vendor according to quality, price, stock, delivery lead time.
9. To work together with manager on upcoming events or planning of the particular department, monitor inventory turnover, sales performance and achievement.
10. Coordinate with various departments e.g.: operations, SRD, marketing, finance, procurement, IT, supply chain.
11. Ensure proper filing, sorting, and retrievable of electronic & hard-copy documents.
12. Attend fairs, events, exhibitions to stay updated with the latest market trends of retail stores.
13. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.Job Requirements1. Minimum 2 years of experience in category managing & sales data analysis or similar position.
