Personal banking relationship manager to acquire new customers for business banking services through proactive approach in accordance to set objectives. Manage assigned accounts by providing quality service which meets or exceeds customer expectations. Develop strong relationships with clients as well as all levels of management within UOB.Job Responsibilities:
- Identify potential customers through various sources such as walk-ins, referrals, telephone enquiries, etc.
- Approach prospects and develop rapport with them to establish their financial needs.
- Promote and sell bank’s products and services.
- Process loan applications including preparation of credit proposals, obtaining approvals and disbursement of loans.
- Ensure prompt responses to customers’ queries and complaints.
- Perform account management duties, e.g., conduct financial reviews, provide financial advice, offer loan counseling and perform other related functions.
- Follow up on recovery actions on overdue accounts.
- Keep abreast of market trends and product innovations.
- Adhere to bank policies and procedures at all times.
- Degree holder preferably in Business Administration/Finance/Banking & Finance.
- At least 2 years experience in sales & marketing or business development in a banking industry.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self motivated, goal oriented, meticulous and possesses good leadership qualities.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office application.
- Strong team player with positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and take on challenges.
- Knowledge in Islamic banking will be an added advantage.
