- Assist Director Rewards to coordinate the development and review of reward programs in the Group
- Contribute to the development of compensation and benefits plan to enhance staff morale and productivity (Researching and gathering compensation, HR policies and practices information in the market, analysing the data and make appropriate recommendation for review)
- Compensation Structure
- Carry out more in-depth and advance analysis on results from compensation benchmarking report and market research, followed by preparing compensation report for the Management for easy decision making
- Propose and define a pay ladder structure across the organization based on individual country's needs and requirement to ensure market competitiveness and align/benchmark with other relevant key players in the market
- Monitor the reviews of compensation and benefits packages for Senior & Key Management, GEM, Expatriates and other staff categories to maintain market positioning
- Coordinate the Annual / Mid-year review exercise across the Group
- Assist in coordination among HR teams in the region to ensure collaboration and consistent communication to regional and local Division/ Department Heads
- Support regional HR Relationship Manager on the compilation of recommendations across the Group and responsible for regional analysis in relation to the annual review exercise for Management and Board's reporting
- Coordinate with Group Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting on the Group's payouts upon completion of the review exercise
- Bonus Framework - Assist Regional Head of Rewards in development of bonus accruals to Finance, funding and framework
- Benefits Management - Keeps abreast of changes in the benefits proposition and trend in the market to maintain our competitiveness
- Data Intelligence and Reporting - Manage the HR rewards (base pay, variable pay, benefits) related information and analysis to support business decision as and when required
- Participates in the strategic Group projects / Rewards initiatives / project
- Undertake the preparatory groundwork for HR projects/initiatives vis-à-vis research and conducting feasibility study, project costing and budgeting, liaison with external service providers if required to ensure project takes off smoothly and implemented on scheduled
- Lead and deliver on projects that may be assigned from time to time
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on compensation and benefits issues and processes
- Provide continuous support to HR Business Partners in Malaysia and across the Group; only escalate up when policy matters arise
- Drive implementation and communication to employees on new or revised compensation and benefits programs in Malaysia
- Ensure compensation and benefits standards comply with company policies and/or other regulations or legislation
- Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring.
- Coach and assist in development of new team members
- Provide guidance to junior members of the team in building their competencies
- Any other responsibilities / task as assigned by management from time to time
- Role model and drive acitivities to encourage and build desired organisational culture, values and reputation in the Group and with all staff, and regulatory/official bodies
