PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Business Development: Proactively identify potential business opportunities through extensive networks and research to secure Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ). Develop new business across all product lines, including Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics, and Project Logistics. Explore opportunities to cross-sell products to both new and existing clients. Client Relationship Management Forge and maintain strong relationships with key contacts in both new and existing accounts. Ensure account retention through excellent customer service. Market Expansion Lead the exploration and penetration of Malaysia markets, particularly in emerging regions where Milkyway can establish a strong presence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and services. Identify and build infrastructure with reliable service providers and freight agents in overseas markets Entrepreneurial Initiatives Innovate and drive business initiatives that enhance the company's competitive edge. Identify and mitigate risks while maximizing opportunities for business growth. Foster a culture of entrepreneurship within the team, encouraging creative problem-solving and agile decision-making. Operational Involvement Work closely with the operations team to ensure the seamless execution of business development strategies. Participate in the planning and management of projects to ensure they align with business objectives. QUALIFICATIONS 15+ years of relevant business development experience in international freight forwarding, with at least 10 years of leadership experience. Proven sales track record and an excellent customer network in Indonesia is a must. Ability to develop and execute business strategies aligned with company objectives.
