We're looking for dynamic individuals who share our vision and want to contribute to the next chapter of Bjak's success.Role SummaryWe are seeking an exceptionally skilled and highly trustworthy Personal Accountant to support the Chairman in managing complex financial operations, personal assets, and confidential financial matters. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight, precision, and professionalism to oversee all financial aspects related to the Chairman’s personal and business interests. This role requires impeccable discretion, excellent analytical capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.RequirementsManage and oversee the Chairman’s personal and business financial accounts, including income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and investments.Reconcile accounts, monitor cash flow, and provide real-time financial updates.Maintain accurate financial records and prepare statements and reports to provide a clear overview of financial health.Monitor portfolio performance and make adjustments as needed to optimize returnsConduct research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and evaluate potential risksPrepare up-to-date reports of market trends, economic indicators, and investment productsAnalyze data and summarise risks, and opportunities delivering strategic recommendations on financial planning and wealth optimization.Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with short- and long-term goals.Ensure compliance with tax regulations through timely filings and proactive planning.Track and evaluate investment performance while staying updated on market trends to identify opportunities for portfolio growth and diversification.Safeguard sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Liaise with external advisors (auditors, tax consultants, legal counsel, financial institutions) for effective financial management.Manage workflows related to real estate, travel, philanthropy, and other personal interests, coordinating with stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.A professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent is mandatory.At least 5–8 years of experience in financial management, including experience working with high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) or ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI).Proven expertise in managing personal accounts, wealth portfolios, and multi-jurisdictional tax planning.Strong familiarity with investments, asset management, and risk analysis.Technical SkillsAdvanced proficiency in accounting software and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).Comprehensive knowledge of tax regulations, estate planning, and wealth management strategies.Deep understanding of global financial markets and asset diversification is an added advantage.Personal AttributesAbsolute integrity, discretion, and a commitment to confidentiality.Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing complex relationships and providing clear financial advice.Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver results on time.BenefitsFast moving, challenging and unique business problemsStrong learning and development plans for your career growthInternational work environment and flat organizationCompetitive salaryCasual work attire
