Title SHIPPING & LOGISTIC MANAGER Grade MANAGER I & II Function / Department GLOBAL OPS - SHIPPING & LOGISTICS Location Shah Alam/Malaysia Report to Senior Manager - Global Sourcing Role Purpose & Statement To lead, plan and implement overall shipping and logistic strategy and execution. To oversee the whole supply chain process to ensure shipment are planned and delivered in a timely manner. To develop and implement supply chain strategy for international business expansion and execution with the collocation of planning and purchase team. Main responsibilities Oversee the whole shipping process and execute process improvements to maximize departmental efficiencies. Supervise and oversee shipping team members. Set shipping individual KPIs to shipping team members. Set and control shipping and logistic budget for cost saving. Negotiate better pricing for cost saving with shipping vendor. Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders (such as Planning & Purchase, Business Development Finance, QA/QC, Supplier, Shipping Agent, Forwarding Agent, Government Agencies, Custom Personnel etc.) Verified & ensure timely & accurate SST submission & filing to customs. Identify shipping issues and implement solutions in a timely manner. Prepare Management KPI reports. Perform yearly renewal with KCCCI to smoothen the COO process. Share & highlight the latest Shipping Market trend to Management & team member. Execute weekly working tips with team member for continuous improvement in process & knowledge. Job requirements Candidate must possess at least diploma/bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics or Supply Chain or equivalent and 5 years of professional experience in supply chain related functions especially in shipment exportation. At least 3 Year(s) of managerial working experience in the related field Personal skillset & Personality Negotiation skill, Root Cause analysis and problem-solving skill.
