Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Data Review and Scope Assessment: Evaluate manufacturer's data to define the electrical scope for solar projects, including wiring specifications and electrical characteristics (e.g., grounding requirements, power factor ranges, lightning protection, generator outputs, etc.) 2. Construction Oversight: Ensure alignment of construction activities with electrical engineering design drawings. Conduct preparatory meetings and implement a robust Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) process. 3.Project Management: Lead and manage the electrical engineering design phase and equipment procurement. Utilize submittals, transmittals, and requests for information to streamline processes and ensure project efficiency. 4.Testing and Commissioning: Oversee and coordinate Testing and Commissioning activities, encompassing SPPFA, SPPIF, SPPIC, and SPPW protocols. Witness these processes to guarantee adherence to project standards and specifications. 5.Utility Coordination: Establish and maintain communication channels with local utilities to facilitate seamless interconnection of the project to the electrical grid. 6.Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Perform any additional duties as required to contribute to the success of the Solar PV projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in electrical engineering within the solar industry.
