Senior buyer - Sourthern Region

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes for direct and indirect materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers-locally and internationally (especially China).
• Ensure materials are purchased at the best price, quality, and lead time.
• Communicate fluently with Mandarin-speaking suppliers for quotations, negotiations, and order follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., production, engineering, planning) to understand material needs.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage any quality or delivery issues.
• Conduct cost analysis and support sourcing strategy development.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and standards.

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in purchasing/procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Language: Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) - mandatory.
• Systems: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
